There are no penalties for dying in Armored Core VI, no currency losses, and no story ramifications. Dying in Armored Core VI is merely a setback, and provides you the opportunity to tinker with your build and swap weapons upon death and then jump right back into the action at the last checkpoint. But fear not, as Armored Core VI is FAR less punishing than other entries in their acclaimed Soulsborne titles. With Armored Core VI being a FromSoftware game, you already know the difficulty will be incredibly taxing to overcome. As such, you'll want to have appropriately sized Legs and a decent sized Core to support your build, and a Generator powerful enough to cover the energy costs. If you don't construct your mech to support the weight and energy demands of the weapons you provide it, then it will not function optimally in combat. ![]() But wait! Every piece you attach to your mech comes at a cost, and these costs will mostly be your weight and energy capacities. As you are assembling your Armored Core within the Assembly menu, you might feel inclined to go for the largest guns possible, with the highest damage output.
